Kim Collins, Owner

Greetings! I am Kim Collins, owner and operator of Kingdom Kids Consulting, L.L.C. I am originally from Charleston S.C. but now reside in Mooresville, N.C, I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, master's degree in literacy, and am currently pursing a doctoral degree in curriculum and instruction.

I formally began my educational career over 12 years ago but have been working with children and families for the past twenty years. Over the span of my career I have served as a classroom teacher (grades K, 1st & 3rd), a reading teacher (grades 2nd & 3rd) a literacy coach (grades K-5), behavior interventionist, and a tutor (grades 1-8). In each role, I have enjoyed serving students, parents and teachers and empowering them to realize the God-given potential and power that is locked inside of them!  I believe that ALL children can learn, when given the right tools and it is my mission and purpose to aid in providing those tools. 

Outside of teaching and consulting with families, I enjoy serving at my local church (Kingdom Christian Church, Charlotte, N.C.), reading, singing, cooking, beach trips and spending quality time with family and friends. I am a spirit-filled believer in Jesus Christ who recognizes that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26)!
